SPiN has been selected as one of ESA's Rising Stars for 2024, recognising its contribution to innovation and growth in the space sector. The award ceremony took place on 17 October during IAC 2024 in Milan.
"Being named an ESA Rising Star is a significant milestone for SPiN and a testament to the company's strong growth in 2024, which began with the successful closing of our funding round. This award validates our hard work and propels us as we look ahead to 2025 when we plan to deploy multiple MA61C units in space and launch our second satellite," said Ran Qedar, CEO of SPiN. "Our mission is clear: to simplify space manufacturing, and this recognition confirms that we're on the right path."
In 2024, ESA selected 20 companies that had participated in commercial or space technology development programs over the past 18 months.
